Although cities notoriously lean left in America, with Republican voter concentrations predominating in more rural and suburban locales, a few cities match their cosmopolitan qualities with conservative values. Based on Presidential Election data, below is a ranking of the only major cities in America in which the county containing the core city within a large metropolitan area leans to the right:

Percentages indicate the percentage of votes cast for President Trump in the jurisdiction:

1. Greenville

Greenville County (Greenville) = 63%

2. Tulsa

Tulsa County (Tulsa) = 62%

3. Fort Wayne

Allen County (Fort Wayne) = 60%

4. Oklahoma City

5. Boise

Ada County (Boise) = 55%

6. Jacksonville

Duval County (Jacksonville) = 51%
